Cabbie carnage

A 25-year-old man was arrested on Dec. 11 after he allegedly attacked a cabbie driving him through Coney Island.

Police say that the victim was driving on Neptune Avenue near W. 22nd Street at 8:20 pm when the thug reached over the partition and punched him in the back of the head.

When the cabbie stopped, the goon got out, punched him in the face and ran off — only to be nabbed for assault a short time later.

Gangster grab

Cops arrested a man who they say flashed a gun and threatened to kill a group of people on Surf Avenue on Dec. 10.

Witnesses said the 22-year-old was arguing with members of the group near W. 12th Street at 2 am when he flashed his pistol, and said he was “a gangster who kills people.”

“I’m going to kill everyone out here,” the thug said before running off, but cops caught up with him later that morning, charging him with menacing.

Mink minxes

Two sticky-fingered thieves swiped a mink coat during a visit to a Brighton Beach Avenue store on Nov. 30.

Workers at the boutique near Brighton Third Street said the two women, who were both in their 30s, entered the store at 4:30 pm, grabbed the pricey coat, and snuck it under their clothes before walking out.

Mezuza menace

A jackal targeting Jewish residents of an Ocean Parkway building swiped several mezuzas — holy relics left on front doors — from the residents’ doors on Dec. 3.

Police estimate that seven mezuzas, small plastic cases containing scrolls with prayers on them, were ripped from the residents’ door frames overnight, according to the Sheepshead Bites blog, which first reported the incident.

All of the thefts took place on the 18th and 19th floors of the Trump Village building, which is located near West Brighton Avenue.

Wonky weave

Police arrested a man who they say was not only driving drunk — but driving with a flat tire — as he motored along the Belt Parkway on Dec. 11.

Cops pulled over the 41-year-old near Hubbard Street at 3:35 am after they caught him slowly driving down the westbound stretch. He then scored a .14 on a Breathalyzer test — the equivalent of a 160-pound man having six drinks.
