The victim told police that he was between E. 34th and E. 35th streets at 11:40 am when the man approached him and put a gun to the back of his head. He told cops the suspect grabbed $1,000 from his pocket and then shot him in the abdomen before fleeing.

Steal and strike

A man was arrested for allegedly taking $900 from a man’s car on Utica Avenue on April 6, and then pummeling the victim when he tried to retrieve his cash.
