Coney cannibal

Officers arrested a 32-year-old man who they say went on a crazed assault, attacking a man in a Coney Island hospital on July 29.

The victim told police he was in the medical center near Ocean Parkway at 6:25 pm when the suspect grabbed his hands and broke two of his fingers. The suspect then chomped down on the victim’s hands and arms, and punched him several times in the face and torso, police said.

Phone fight

A 16-year-old boy was arrested for assaulting a woman and attempting to steal her phone on West Brighton Avenue on July 30.

Police say the victim was near W. Third Street at 4:20 pm when the suspect approached her and punched her in the head. The suspect then snatched the woman’s phone and attempted to flee, officials say. Police arrested a suspect shortly after.

Brotherly hate

Two brothers were arrested after jumping a man on Polar Street early on the morning of July 28.

The victim told police that he was between Seagate Avenue and W. 37th Street at 2:20 am when the two suspects, one 32 and one 26, attacked him, punching him in the head and face repeatedly, cops said.
