Hairless heist

A smooth-headed criminal stole 25 packages of Rogaine from a Henry Street pharmacy on April 22, cops said.

A female employee at the store between Love Lane and Clark Street saw the guy come in at 9:30 pm, shove the boxes of baldness-treating tonic into his shopping bag, and walk out, according to a police report.

The Rogaine was worth $1,172.75, the report says.

Crooked cleaning lady

A cleaning lady has been stealing jewelry from her Washington Street employer for the past three months, police reported on April 22.

The 46-year-old victim, who lives between York and Front streets, told cops a second maid alerted him of a possible theft and, when he checked his jewelry box, he found two rings, a necklace, and some other items missing, according to a police report.

Pickpocket honeypot

Cops cuffed a pair of suspects at the High Street subway station on April 22 after they allegedly stole a cellphone from the backpack of an undercover cop.

Police said the accused, 20 and 21, were riding a Manhattan-bound C train at 3:30 pm, when they worked together to remove a phone from the outside mesh pocket of a fellow passenger’s backpack. The backpack belonged to an officer participating in a decoy operation meant to ensnare subway pickpockets, officers stated.

Cops arrested the pair at the subway station near Red Cross Place and Cadman Plaza East, and found marijuana in one of their pockets, according to a police report.

Company-car theft

One or more anti-social auto-philes stole two vehicles belonging to a man’s company from different Downtown parking lots this week, cops said.

The business owner said a Ford Escape went missing on April 19 between 4 and 6 pm from a lot on Livingston Street at the corner of Boerum Place.

Then a company employee parked a Kia Forte at a lot on Myrtle Avenue between Flatbush Avenue Extension and Fleet Place at 5 pm on April 20 and it was gone by 2 am the next day, a police report says.

AC cranked

A burglar kicked in the air conditioning unit of an apartment on Pacific Street on April 23 and stole a bunch of stuff, plus duffel bag to carry it in, according to a report.

The 34-year-old victim stated that the prowler came in through the bedroom window of the apartment between Third Avenue and Nevins Street while she was out, from 8:30 am until 9:10 pm.

The intruder made off with a gold Omega watch, a laptop, a phone, an electronic tablet, some other jewelry, and a duffel bag to put it all in, cops stated.

Mauled on Fulton Mall

Cops arrested two teens and are looking for four more who they say were involved in the assault and robbery that left another youngster sans cellphone and sneakers on April 24 on Fulton Mall.

The victim reported he was on Fulton Street at Bond Street at 6:30 pm when six tough guys approached him.

“How much are your shoes?” one supposedly demanded.

The victim, who was wearing a pair of Nike Kevin Durant VI’s, tried to flee but was caught by the fearsome, fashion-forward sextet, according to a police report. The scalawags punched and kicked the victim in the face and body before ripping off his sneakers, taking his mobile device, and vamoosing, the report says.

Cops caught up with two of the kids, a 12-year-old and a 14-year-old, are looking for the others, the authorities said.

Burger brawl

A 33-year-old woman was arrested for attacking a fellow customer with a pen at a burger place on Fulton Street on April 25, according to cops.

The 59-year-old victim of the attack told police she was standing in line at the restaurant on the corner of Fulton and Pearl streets at 4:15 pm when she accidentally bumped into a woman who was standing next to her and the lady became enraged.

“Why you touch me?” the cranky customer allegedly said, then stabbed the older woman with a pen in the chest.

Cops arrived and arrested the suspect, but were unable to recover the weapon used in the attack, a report says.

A group effort

A group of teens jumped a 16-year-old inside the Farragut Houses on Sands Street on April 25, police said.

The victim said he was visiting a friend in the complex between Navy and Gold streets at 4 pm when a crew of five youngsters attacked him from behind, yelling “Run the pockets!” and “What are you doing here?”

The juvenile jerks punched the victim in the head, stole his phone, and scrammed, a report says.
