A gunman killed a guy in a Seventh Avenue restaurant in Sunset Park on Dec. 7.

Police arrived at the Popeyes near the corner of 61st Street at 9:37 pm and found the victim with gunshot wounds to the head, torso, and right arm, police reports state. Officials identified the victim as 68-year-old Yingguan Chen of W. Ninth Street in Bensonhurst.

Emergency responders transported Chen to Lutheran Medical Center where doctors pronounced him dead, police said. Photos from the scene show blood-soaked napkins and a pool of blood left on a chair and table at the restaurant where Chen sat.

It is not immediately clear what motivated the slaying, law enforcement sources said.

Jona from Brooklyn says:
Agreed. Poor man was killed and this rag makes fun of shooting with a rhyme. Reporters are scumbags, anyone can be one these days. So are the owners of these papers. Most of the local Bay Ridge papers are loaded with downtown Brooklyn stories and advertisements.

My neighbor raids the banks and those kiosks on the corners and uses them for his bird cages. I get them and take out the coupons and throw the rest of the paper away.

It is sad that anytime someone commits a crime in this neighborhood there are no arrests. What a shame
