The jerk took the products off the shelves in the store near Avenue Z at about 2:20 pm, and when a worker tried to stop him, he socked him in the left shoulder, according to authorities. The punk dropped the soaps in his haste as he fled shirtless toward Avenue Y, police said.
A ne’er-do-well broke into a guy’s truck parked on E. 21st Street on July 5 and stole a wad of cash and checks from his glove compartment, police said.
The guy told police he parked his delivery vehicle near Shore Parkway at 6:50 pm to make a delivery, and when he returned about 10 minutes later, he noticed some good-for-nothing had broken his passenger-side front window and swiped $1,700 and four checks worth a total of $5,700, according to authorities.
A lout broke into a guy’s E. Second Street garage in the middle of the night on July 5 and stole a bunch of quarters from his car, police said.
The 84-year-old guy told police the punk broke into his garage near Avenue P at about 2 am and took $6 worth of quarters from his inside his car. Both his vehicle and garage had been left unlocked, according to authorities.
A villain stole someone’s data collection wand from a construction site on Avenue W on July 6, police said.
The victim told police the scoundrel climbed the scaffolding up to the work site near Knapp Street and jumped down to grab the ProxiPen at about 11:45 pm, according to authorities.
A snake ran off with a guy’s company laptop from inside a medical store on Quentin Road on July 7, police said.
The lout swiped the guy’s Dell laptop from inside the building near E. 16th Street at about 6:30 pm, officials said.
