Some punks hit a guy in the face after he refused to give them money in a park on E. 13th Street on July 23, police said.
The 21-year-old victim told police he was in the park near Avenue V at about 11:30 pm when the malefactors came up to him and asked for money.
When the victim refused, the baddies struck him in the face, causing a cut on his left cheek, according to authorities. Emergency responders took the victim to a community hospital, police said.
A burglar broke into a guy’s house on Nostrand Avenue and stole a wad of his cash on July 27, police said.
The 55-year-old guy told police he left his house near Gerritsen Avenue at about 1 pm and when he got back at about 4:30 pm, noticed the place was ransacked and that someone had swiped $2,900 from different drawers around the house, according to authorities.
The crook broke in through an unlocked window in the basement, officials said.
Cops cuffed a guy who they say tried to steal a loaf of bread and milk from a store on Nostrand Avenue on July 25.
The guy started leaving the store near Avenue W with $6 worth of groceries at about 8 am when the cashier stopped him, according to authorities. The suspect then scratched the cashier on both of his arms when he wouldn’t let him leave, police said.
The suspect told police he works at the store, officials said.
