Some nogoodnik swiped cash, passports, and credit cards from a woman’s home on E. 23rd Street sometime overnight on Aug. 26, police said.
The 66-year-old left her home at 7 pm, and when she returned at 7 am the next morning, she realized the sneak had broke into her house through the kitchen window near Avenue U and stole $1,900, two passports, and four credit cards, according to authorities.
Cops cuffed two teens for punching a guy in the face and swiping his backpack, clothes, and phone on Avenue U on Aug. 21.
The victim told police he was near E. 18th Street at about 5 am when the two suspects came up to him and one of them said “What do you got?” and then started punching and kicking him in the face, according to authorities.
The other suspect then grabbed his red North Face backpack, red Miami Heat cap, cash, and Samsung Galaxy phone, officials said. Emergency responders transported the victim to Coney Island Hospital for treatment. According to a police report, one of the suspects had marijuana in his possession when they arrested him.
Three crooks threatened a guy with a gun and stole his phone and credit cards on Homecrest Avenue on Aug. 22, police said.
The 31-year-old victim told police he was walking near Avenue U at about 6 am when the trio of good-for-nothings came up to him, and one of them pushed a gun into his stomach and said “Be quiet and empty your pockets.” The goniffs then went through the victim’s pockets and swiped his iPhone, credit cards, and cash while the other two baddies stood lookout, according to authorities. The weasels fled toward Avenue T, police said.
A pair of knaves ran off with a teen’s two bikes and threatened him with a gun on E. 26th Street on Aug. 27, police said.
The 14-year-old told police he and the wormy duo arranged to meet near Kings Highway at about 10 am to discuss a backpack transaction, but when they all got there, the villains brandished a gun and demanded the teen’s bikes, according to authorities. The sneak thieves then rode off with the teen’s white-with-blue-lettering Fat Ripper, and his other black Fat Ripper with red and white lettering, according to authorities.
A jerk broke into an empty house on Stanton Road and damaged the bathroom sometime between Aug. 24 and Aug. 26, police said. The homeowner, who lives at another residence, told police the punk broke the fence and the lock to the front door to the home near Gunnison Court and damaged the floor and bathtub but didn’t take anything, police said.
