Three against one

Three ruffians stole a woman’s purse and phone on E. 14th Street on Aug. 28, police said.

The 30-year-old woman told police she was walking to the store near Shore Parkway over the pedestrian overpass at about 10 pm when the trio of loud-talking goons came up to her from behind and one of them, a man, grabbed her bag. But when the victim didn’t let go, the two other brutes, who were women, choked her until she gave it up, according to authorities. The trio of bruisers then ran down a nearby flight of stairs and fled in a dark sedan with the woman’s purse, which contained her wallet, she and her husband’s Social Security cards, and a pricey iPhone, investigators said.

Some sandwich!

Cops cuffed an man who went on a tirade and began breaking items in a Nostrand Avenue grocery store on Aug. 30.

The worker told police the 25-year-old suspect became irate over the price of a sandwich in the bodega near Avenue W at about 10 am and started breaking hundreds of dollars worth of items. According to investigators, the suspect hurled a glass bottle at a store worker and lunged over the counter to grab cash from the register, which led to a tug of war over the cash before cops arrived to make the arrest.

Playground bullies

Four thieves attacked a kid in Sheepshead Playground on E. 29th Street on Aug. 31 and swiped his phone, police said.

The 11-year-old was playing basketball in the park near Avenue Z at about 11 am when one of the brutes hit him in the back of the head, knocking him onto the ground, and then grabbed his Samsung Galaxy phone from his pants pocket, according to authorities. Three witnesses saw what was happening but the other thugs held them down so they couldn’t help, police said. The attackers were wearing all black with green bandanas covering their faces, and they fled in a gray Nissan sedan, police said.

Bling’s the thing

A rip-off artist stole thousands in cash and jewelry from a man’s Avenue Y home on Aug. 26, police said.

The victim told police his house near E. Fifth Street was invaded via the backyard and the goniff used a patio swing to get up to the second floor, where he ripped out window mesh and hopped inside at about 9 pm, according to authorities. The malefactor ran off with cash, diamonds and pricey 14-carat white gold rings, police said.
