Gone in a snap

A sneak thief stole almost $1,100 in cash on Sept. 15 from the 63rd Street home of a man she met on Snapchat, according to police.

After a night out, the pair arrived in a cab back at the victim’s home at 17th Avenue at 4:30 am, after the man had paid for the cab ride home at the end of a night out. Once inside, the seductress told the man to take a shower and go to the bedroom, while she made a phone call outside. After the man had been waiting for a while, he went back into the kitchen and noticed a drawer that had contained $1080 in cash was open and empty, and that his female guest had fled. Soon after, police said, she blocked his number — and likely his Snapchat.

Sliced for bling

Two violent punks stole jewelry from a man who they also cut on the arm with an unknown sharp object in Bensonhurst Park on Sept. 17, investigators said.

The crooks approached the man just after 2 am in the park near Bay Parkway and Cropsey Avenue, where they stole jewelry he was wearing on his arms and slashed him on his left arm, leaving a deep laceration. The victim went to Maimonides Medical Center, where he was treated for his wound, according to the police report.

Running, and gone

An oppotunistic car thief pounced in an instant and stole a black 2013 Infiniti that had been left running outside a body shop on Bay 19th Street on Sept. 13.

According to a police report, the car’s owner had gone into the shop between Bath and Benson avenues around 7:45 am and came back out soon after to find his car gone. The report made no mention of whether or not the car was unlocked.

Dangerous delivery

Two thugs attacked a man who thought he was delivering food to a house on Bay 13th Street on Sept. 17, tackling him to the ground and kicking him before stealing his wallet and the $30 inside.

The assault and theft occurred at 8:20 pm near Shore Parkway, when the deliverer arrived at the listed address and was approached by the good-for-nothings who promptly tackled, punched, and kicked him, leaving him with a laceration on the top of his head and knee and elbow scrapes. They then snatched his wallet from his front pocket and fled up Bay 13th Street towards Shore Parkway. Police are reviewing surveillanbce cameras in the area, according to a report.

Parking shock

A miscreant stole a 2017 Gray Mazda at Bay 19th Street the night of Sept. 12.

The owner of the car parked it between Benson Avenue and 86th Street around 9 pm, only to return the following morning at 7:45 am to find the car missing. The owner told cops the had been locked, but investigators found no broken glass in the area where the car had been parked.
