Bagged it

A crook with a taste for the finer things in life stole a black Chanel handbag valued at $1,000 from a W. 9th Street home on Oct. 13, according to police.

The thief entered and exited the home between avenues U and T through an unlocked rear kitchen window at around 9 pm. Police are reviewing surveillance cameras in the area.

Deserving of detention

A lout stole between $500 and $800 in cash from a 62nd Street school in the early morning hours of Oct. 15.

The criminal entered the building between New Utrecht and 15th avenues through scaffolding and a window. After grabbing the cash from multiple classrooms, he left through the building’s side door and fled on foot.

Floor it

A good-for-nothing stole a 2013 silver Honda Odyssey from 84th Street on Oct. 14.

The thief took off with the car from between 19th and 20th avenues at around 6 pm, according to the report. There was no broken glass near the car, and the car owner said he is the only one with keys or permission to use the car, according to the report.

A gun to the head

A punk entered a man’s parked car on 85th Street while he was inside, put a black pistol to his head, and ordered him to hand over his money before stabbing him four times on Oct. 15, according to police.

The miscreant entered the car between 21st avenue and Bay Parkway and threatened the driver just before 7:30 pm, at which point the driver grabbed the pistol, ordered the crook to get out, and kept driving while he was still inside. The criminal then stabbed the driver four times, on his arm, abdomen, and back. The driver then turned left on to Bay Parkway, pulled over, and got out of the car, and pulled the lout out in an attempt to fight. But the crook fled on foot towards 85th Street, and the driver went to the police.
