Enterprising fifth graders from PS 102, the Bayview School, created banners that were installed at several locations along Fifth Avenue in an effort to promote Vision Zero.
Unfurled on June 22 at 7418 Fifth Ave., the colorful pennants will fly proudly through the summer to advise drivers to be more aware while behind the wheel.
The Vision Zero initiative seeks to eliminate all deaths from traffic crashes regardless of whether [the victims are] on foot, bicycle, or inside a motor vehicle.
Standing O applauds the students on their vision!
