A pair of louts struck a man on his head and neck with a metal rod — causing swelling to his head and bruising to his neck — on 79th Street on July 30.
The assault occurred at 17th Avenue just before 1:30 am, police said. Emergency medical personnel transported the man to Maimonides Medical Center, and the perps fled on foot on 79th Street toward 18th Avenue, according to the report.
A pair of miscerants attacked, threatened, and attempted to rob a man in his Bay 19th Street building on July 30.
The man told police the duo followed him from the grocery store to his home between 86th Street and Benson Avenue at around 4 pm. The male lout punched the man in the face and threatened to shoot him while the woman tried to go through his pockets, according to the report, which added that the dastardly duo fled on foot on Bay 19th Street towards Benson Avenue.
A liar swindled a woman out of $250 at a Bay Parkway bank on July 30.
The woman told police she was at the bank at 85th Street around 5 pm, when the man asked her to deposit his check for $600 so he could get his cash. But when the woman went to deposit the check into her account, the man pushed her and withdrew the $250, adding, “don’t worry, the rest of the money is going to be gone,” according to the report.
A pilferer stole $3,000 from a woman’s purse while she was sleeping inside a Shore Parkway hotel at sometime overnight on July 30.
The theft occurred inside the hotel near Bay 35th Street at some point between 10 pm and 6 am the next day, according to the report.
A pilferer broke into a Bay 19th Street home and stole a cellphone — while the homeowner was in the kitchen — on July 31, police said.
The theft occurred at the home between 86th Street and Benson avenues at around 10 am, according to the report, which added that the perp then fled in an unknown direction.
A sneak broke into a man’s car parked on W. 11th Street on Aug. 1 and stole his designer wallet with his credit and debit cards inside.
The theft occurred at the parking spot between Avenues S and T around 11 pm, according to the report.
A crook stole a man’s white 2001 Ford van from Bay Eighth Street on Aug. 3.
The theft occurred near Benson Avenue around 7 am.
A criminal stole a white 2018 Chevrolet Malibu from an 86th Street dealer on Aug. 3.
The theft occurred at the dealership at 16th Avenue just before 11 am, when the thief got into the car and fled in an unknown direction, according to the report.
Police arrested a pair of men who they say assaulted, threatened, and stole electronics, car keys, and a cellphone from a man on 83rd Street on Aug. 3.
The victim told police he was between 16th and 17th avenues just after 6:30 pm, when the pair chased him to his car. One of the men then opened the car door and put his hands around the man’s neck, punching him and holding him to the ground, while the second man stole the property from the car, police reported. The report also added that the second man was carrying a hammer, causing the victim to fear for his life.
A lout strangled a woman, causing her to lose consciousness, in a Bay 34th Street home on Aug. 3.
The assault occurred in the home between Benson and Bath avenues just before 6:45 pm, when the man strangled the woman and then fled on a white bike in an unknown direction, according to the report.
A crook stole a green 2013 Kawasaki motorcycle from its Bay 31st Street parking spot on Aug. 4.
The criminal made the steal from the spot between Bath and Cropsey avenues at some point before 4 am, according to the report.
A thief broke into a 78th Street home on Aug. 5 and stole a bottle of conditioner worth less than $7, police said.
The break-in occurred at the home between 18th and 19th avenues around 12:30 am, when the crook broke in through side bathroom window and stole the hair product. She fled on foot, down 78th Street towards 18th Avenue, police said.
