Arrest in deadly Sunset Park stabbling

Police arrested Brighton Beach man for allegedly stabbing another man to death in broad daylight on 59th Street in Sunset Park on Aug. 2.

The suspect allegedly stabbed fellow Brighton Beacher Miguel Garcia in the neck, chest, and head in front of a building at Sixth Avenue just before 10 am according to police. Emergency medical personnel transported Garacia to NYU Langone Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, authorities said.

The suspect is charged with second-degree murder.
