Wanted: Police are searching for two teenage punks who they say assaulted and stole a cellphone from a 14-year-old-boy near 40th Street and Fifth Avenue in Sunset Park on Oct. 25.

Police are on the hunt for two teenage punks who assaulted another teen and stole his cellphone in broad daylight in Sunset Park.

The perps, whom authorities described as between 14 and 16 years old, approached their 14-year-old victim near 40th Street and Fifth Avenue around 4:20 pm on Oct. 25, before punching the youngster, throwing him to the ground, and stealing his iPhone 7, cops said.

The nogoodniks — whom video footage shows chummily strolled an area street with their arms around one another around the time of the attack — fled on foot in an unknown direction following the incident, according to officials, who said the victim refused medical attention at the scene.

Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577–8477. The public can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP577. All tips are strictly confidential.
